Eating our way through the region on the company dime is a challenging assignment, but we do it because we, like you, like to eat well when we go out. So we eat out often but not often well. Last year, our five restaurant reviewers wrote about 52 different eateries from Portsmouth, NH to Winthrop and, occasionally, we find some so outstanding, they deserve a return trip – in person and on the printed page. Below is a sampling:
Broadway Bistro, Revere
Braccia’s Four 66 Pub & Grille, Danvers
– It’s comfort food at its best. Radici offers comfortable seats, comfortable lighting, and a variety of pasta dishes that fit nicely in one’s stomach. It is most comfortable with vegetarians, who will be able to choose from a large menu of meatless dishes, including eggplant manicotti. It also does tiramisu right.
Papa Luigi’s Ristorante, Winthrop
Highland Café, Malden
Wild Bites, Amesbury
Bistro 45, Haverhill
BluWater Café, Newburyport
Organic Garden, Beverly
The Mirage, Revere
