2011 Taste of The Seacoast - Restaurant of the Month
Radici was just voted Best Restaurant for our annual Best of Taste issue, and it’s easy to see why. The restaurant, helmed by owner Jay Krecklow, is the perfect balance of a fun atmosphere and wonderful food. “I’ve been here since day one,” says Krecklow, who helped open the eatery in 2002, including demolition and painting. After working as a server, bartender, and general manager, he bought the place in 2007. Of the award, “It’s extremely exciting, really nice to see after all the hard work over the last four years.”
2011 Best of Taste
From easy-going brunches to decadent desserts, everything at this year’s best restaurant winner sings la dolce vita. Downtown Portsmouth’s ode to the Italian Old Country encourages diners to slow down and drink life in, whether that means long, lingering conversations over tiramisu or sipping a glass of vino from the ever-evolving wine list. House specials include entrees like Osso Bucco, Primavera Orecchiette, and Haddock Gremolata. Radici’s brunch is also among the Seacoast’s best and goes beyond the typical pastries and quiche to include frittatas, antipasti, and sweet, delicate crespelle. Buon appetito!

DINING OUT 2008
Boston Sunday Globe
"Radici, Portsmouth (NH) – It’s comfort food at its best. Radici offers comfortable seats, comfortable lighting, and a variety of pasta dishes that fit nicely in one’s stomach. It is most comfortable with vegetarians, who will be able to choose from a large menu of meatless dishes, including eggplant manicotti. It also does tiramisu right."

The Boston Globe
Author(s): MEREDITH GOLDSTEIN
... At Radici, an Italian bistro in downtown Portsmouth, we were comforted like two wet bugs by a friendly bartend-er/waiter, perfect dim lighting that made things look a bit rosier and tiramisu that at first bite reminds you the world is still worth it.
Pasta, pasta - Radici keeps the Italian vibe flowing
The Portland Phoenix - October 31 - November 7, 2002
"Have you ever had the feeling when you’re sitting in a restaurant waiting for your dinner that you can’t stop watching the food come out of the kitchen — despite the fact that your dining companion is someone you actually want to be with? Well that’s what happened at Radici."
